The Liebster Award

I guess you're going to get two posts today from me as the sweet Jacqueline Gikow from Audacious-Aging.NYC® nominated my blog Beauty In Your Eyes for a Liebster Award. I would really like to thank her for her nomination! I'm so thankful for all that I have achieved with this blog, all the support that my readers have given me throughout this past year. I honestly never expected so much love from the blogging community. 

So, what is the Liebster Award?
It’s an award given to new and up and coming bloggers with small followings (generally less than 200). It helps new bloggers connect with each other, and find each other. In German, Liebster means Dearest or loving! It honestly means so much to me to even be recognized by other bloggers. 

The rules for the Liebster Award are:

1. You have to mention and thank the blog that nominated you in a blog post.
2. You then have to answer the questions which were asked by the blog that nominated you.
3. Then it's your turn to nominate 11 other new bloggers.

1. What do you splurge on?
Well, I think this one is pretty obvious! Makeup!

2. What gives you joy?
Seeing my closest family and friends happy.

Malta - small island just under Sicily.

I guess it's my blog!

Testing out new beauty products.

Blue.

Soup.

 The Theory of Everything.

10. What topic are you passionate about?
Beauty. My passion for it resulted in this blog!

Now, here are my answers for her questions:

1. How many jobs have you had in your life?
So far, I've had 3 jobs! I've worked as a waitress twice and now I'm currently working with my family.

2. What inspires you the most?
I don't think that there's anything specific which inspires me. Sometimes, all I need to do is look at what's around me!

3. Favourite food or cuisine?
Pizza and pasta are my weaknesses! I can probably eat them everyday.

4. Favourite musical artist?
Currently, I'm really enjoying music from Sia and Adele.

5. Beach or mountains?
Definitely beach. The sound of the waves has a calming effect on me.

6. Who would you like to play you in a movie?
I've honestly never thought about this :P  I think Nina Dobrev would do a really good job! I love her.

7. What do you wish you were better at?
Singing! I really wish I had a good voice but well... a girl can dream.

8. What is your favourite holiday?
Probably when I went to the US with my family. It was a blast!

9. What is your biggest fear?
Failure. I've a big perfectionist and I like to have everything planned out, but life somehow always gets in the way.

10. Best advice for new bloggers?
Always write about things that you're passionate about and have fun doing it!
